Breaking Down The Numbers Selling Lego® OnLine — August 2023

I cannot believe I have been selling Lego online now for nine months. It started with BrickLink and recently I also expanded to Brick Owl.

One thing I always wanted to do was share my journey. Dive into the details of the numbers behind the business. But it always just was something I pushed back. Now, in August, I thought it was time to share some of my numbers.

Reviewing The Numbers

There are a couple of numbers that I find important to keep track of and a couple of other back up numbers. The important numbers include the total value of sales and total number of parts shipped. Still interesting but less important is the average sale value, sales per day and the variable costs.

August Sales

My total sales increased by 1.7% over July to reach $1,470.77 for August. This was across 44 orders, which were down…
