Forget Passive Income It Is A Dangerous Trap
Many ideas, touted as passive income, require more effort than a regular job and provide far less income.
It is a dream for many people to earn an income with little in the way of active work. But what they often tout as passive income is anything but passive. With significant amounts of active work required over long periods of time before you will see any actual passive income.
What Is Passive Income?
There are many definitions of passive income used on the internet. These definitions can be quite various based on the expectations of the person defining it. With many definitions being kind of murky. They base their definition on a financial interest in you believing their definition. So I looked to a definition without a motive from Investopedia.
Passive income is earnings derived from a rental property, limited partnership, or other enterprise in which a person is not actively involved. — Investopedia
