Giving Facebook Marketplace Another Go In 2022
From selling everything in 2020 to crickets in 2021, I am trying Facebook Marketplace again in 2022.
Back in 2020, I started using Facebook Marketplace for the first time with some great outcomes. In a period of around six months, I sold over $4,600 worth of stuff I no longer needed. Leaving me with more money and less stuff cluttering the place up.
Towards the end of 2020, I noticed things started slowing down for me. This was a combination of me listing less on Facebook Marketplace. But also a mixture of enquires, with either low ball offers or never responding after the first message.
My peak results came in August 2020, with 32 items sold for $1,800. Dropping back to just 3 items sold for $105 in December 2020. Continuing into 2021, I made just three sales in total for around $300. I lost motivation to post items throughout 2021 as well because of so many tyre kickers on the few items which were listed.
I have covered many of the good and bad aspects of Facebook Marketplace before. I will not rehash these here and focus on where I will focus my attention and my immediate goals. If you would like to read my previous post about Facebook Marketplace I will link it below.
