I am very new to the Medium platform so this is going to be interesting to see what they are changing. At the moment the stats page is at times so minimalistic compared to what I am used to on other platforms.

Also, I think the clapping system is more what caused me to hold back from getting started on Medium sooner. I think that it does work, but it can in a way create a barrier for those that struggle to get curated or starting without an audience.
