I have at times in the past collected sea glass, it is not all that easy to find locally and often the pieces really do need some more work. They just have not got that worn look, or the edges are still too unnatural.
I can be a little like a bower bird though and often collect up anything shiny and have two small boxes full of fixing and parts that have fallen from jewellery. I also go looking for unique stones and pebbles, many smaller ones but the odd little bit large one that I can barely pick up has found it’s way in.
