I saw this in action at the end of last week. Life got in the way and I could not post for a day. The result was that my earnings dropped and my views dropped. But even before reading your post, and even before not posting to the threads I expected, that would be the case when I did not promote.

I suspect that a better use of time instead of promoting through these social platforms too much, would be to improve writing to improve the chance of curation and look at how you can create stories for publications. Maybe even using the time to write and research more.
