I set out from the very beginning with a fairly strict rules around my coffee. I will never drink after 12pm, the times I do it messes with my sleep. I stick with a peppermint tea in the evening, which has no caffeine.
The other important aspect that I went with is quality of coffee. I have never had an instant coffee and never have milk, cream or sugar added. I drink only coffee made with fresh ground coffee beans. This might cost a little more but I feel that quality is super important. A long black at the coffee shop or I make my own cold brew coffee to drink at home.
