I used to have a very regimented routine when heading to the coffee shop. I would be there every single day they were open, I would go for the same table and the same seat at that table. Even going as far to adjust the table direction if it had moved so I could maintain the view I was used to. And of course I would order the same drink.

Things have not changed all that significantly, but my drink has changed from a sugary syrupy chai latte to a long black. But as I shared I have resigned myself to having to accept the table that is available, rather then the table I desire. Because ultimately I want the cafe to remain successful and open, rather than always being empty and having to close their doors.
