I would be careful reposting old work even if you have deleted the original as I understand Medium could track this as well and if you have not made substantial changes, you could end up being flagged. Just something to keep in mind. I would be maybe more inclined to write something shorter, giving a slightly different POV and reference the old post directly. Potentially getting two X views/reads/minutes.
