In theory, the algorithm should only recommend what it knows you will read. So in theory if you don't read them and read other topics it should stop recommending them.

These pieces dont really show up on Medium for me, I have another topic that overflows my feed because I keep clicking the titles. But Youtube still recommends some of this too me, I just have to remember not to click through.
