Intermittent Fasting is the way I have been eating for almost two years now. I eat on a roughly 16:8 schedule with the eating window between 8am and 4pm. It shifts around a little day to day just depending on when I eat my first meal, but I always stop eating between 4–4.15pm.

Early on I was attempting to be quite strict with sticking to the window. But I have found that to make it work with everyday life you have to be a little flexible. If you are out by 30 minutes one day it happens. You can almost always get back on track with little effort within a day or two. Even if you do end up hours off one day.

I have found the greatest benefits for me have come from the weight maintenance aspect more than weight loss. I find I can have more flexibility in what I eat without putting weight on while on Intermittent Fasting.
