It is amazing sometimes how wildlife that is at times so scared of human contact, somehow know when someone is going to help them. One day I found a small swallow sitting in a shopping trolley in the shopping centre. They often nest in the car park nearby and from time to time get stuck inside. It was entirely worn out I think. So I carried it for a while and took it outside to a tree near where they are often seen. It sat for a couple of minutes before taking flight again.
