Thank you for sharing this experience Lily. I have seen this situation play out a couple of times and I have been fairly good at avoiding being in the actual sales meeting. But have found myself there a couple of times.
The last one was the worse where I was lured in with a false interest in the services I was offering. Thinking it was for me to share about my business I even bought the coffee, and in under 5 minutes was getting the sales pitch from them and a total disinterest in my services.
