What you have shared about your series of novels bring me back to another challenge I have faced at time. Staying on track with the topic. With the opening, exploring and closing of a topic in the shorter articles I write. I cannot even fathom how to approach a plot line that spans a million words and multiple books with all that must be involved to keep the story moving forward.
I think programs like Pro Writing Aid and Grammarly can be good for non fiction writing. But for fiction or creative writing they are going to be less useful. I even find I am starting to ignore more suggestions in my own non fiction writing because they subvert the meaning of what I am saying.
