The unfortunate truth is that the effort they go to may not seem worth it for us, but to them if they even get 1 in 100 or 1000 to fall for their scam they are actually doing quite well I suppose. It is the same on Facebook and Instagram streams of accounts trying to get you to porn sites or messages trying to get you to buy followers.
