Your post caught my eye because of the mention of Camino de Santiago. I recently finished reading Paulo Coelho’s The Pilgrimage, so the name was top of mind. It was ironic you mention getting it to listen to on audiobook while walking.

The trail is on my bucket list and going to see if you have any other experiences from the trail. I like the idea of seeing the experience from multiple views before starting to plan my own visit.
